About the event
The Catskill 3500 Club is excited to collaborate with the Catskill Center and the DEC on an important stewardship project: installing Boot Brush Stations at trailheads throughout the Catskills. Boot Brush Stations help prevent the spread of invasive plant species by encouraging hikers to clean their boots before and after a hike. This simple action protects native ecosystems and supports the long-term health of the Catskills.
What volunteers will do
Volunteers will help dig and prepare the installation sites at designated trailheads. All tools and materials will be provided.
