We hope you will join us for the club's annual Winter Weekend! It is a great opportunity to gather with our hiking community and enjoy the mountains together.

What is Winter Weekend? A club tradition that is a two-day event full of winter hiking in the mountains and building community, while staying at a Catskill lodge together! The weekend will include over 30 official club hikes, a hiker happy hour and dinner, as well as other activities for members, aspirants and their guests.

Official club hikes include the required four winter peaks for the regular club patch, many other Catskill high peaks and other local hikes on a more relaxed, easy pace; all led by qualified, volunteer, club hike leaders. We encourage you to stay at Frost Valley YMCA, where there are several options for lodging. To make reservations, send an email to: reservations@frostvalley.org or call Anna at: (845) 985-2291 x450. Please give them a day or two to respond to your request. A two-night minimum stay is required.

The club has reserved the snow lodge, which can accommodate 16-20 people in 4-6 rooms. Please consider making reservations for the snow lodge and staying with your fellow club members. There are several other lodging options, so it is best to contact Frost Valley to discuss your needs. All lodging options include breakfast and boxed lunches for both days.

The Hiker Happy Hour with a cash bar will begin at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, followed by dinner catered by the Neversink Country Store. A massage therapist will also be on-site for pay-as-you chair massages and there will be other surprises that evening too.

Dinner tickets are $50 per person. You must purchase tickets for the dinner in advance (see below). You may attend the dinner on Saturday night even if you do not plan to stay the weekend. Please note that the dinner is limited to 60 attendees and tickets are sold on a first come first serve basis.
